TORNADO DISASTER INCOME AND RELIEF. TORNADO DESTROYED A LARGE PORTION OF THE RESIDENTIAL SECTION OF VAN TEXAS ON MAY 9, 2015. VAN COMMUNITY MINISTRIES WAS A MAJOR CONTRIBUTOR TO THE GENERAL POPULATION WHO LOST THEIR POSSESSIONS. FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER, AND UTILITIES WERE SOME THINGS PROVIDED BY THIS MINISTRY. THIS CLEAN UP AND RELIEF IN ONGOING INTO 2016.
THIS REPRESENTS COST OF FOOD PURCHASED TO DONATE AND ASSIST LOW INCOME FAMILIES ON A WEEKLY BASIS.
