THE CENTER IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, LITERARY AND (CONTINUED ON SCH O) EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF PROVIDING: (1) JUDICIAL EDUCATION, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND THE NECESSARY RESOURCE MATERIAL TO ASSIST MUNICIPAL JUDGES, COURT SUPPORT PERSONNEL, AND CITY ATTORNEYS IN OBTAINING AND MAINTAINING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN THE FAIR AND IMPARTIAL ADMINISTRATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE; AND, (2) INFORMING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE TEXAS JUDICIAL SYSTEM AND LAWS RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN TEXAS COMMUNITIES.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES INITIAL AND CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION FOR JUDGES AND COURT PERSONNEL OF MUNICIPAL COURTS AND EFFECTIVELY PARTICIPATES IN IMPROVING THE STATE'S CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM. WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 15,312 PERSONS VIA THE GRANT FROM THE TEXAS COURT OF CRIMINAL APPEALS; AS WELL AS TEACHERS AND THEIR STUDENTS FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION GRANT.
