FATHERS & FAMILIES OF SAN JOAQUIN WAS ABLE TO TAP INTO COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS FORMED TO EDUCATE AND INCREASE VACCINATION RATES FOR HISTORICALLY MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY. DRAWING ON OUR 15 YEARS OF WORKING WITHIN THESE COMMUNITIES AND RELYING ON THE TRUST WE HAVE BUILT OVER THE YEARS, OUR ORGANIZATION, WE ARE ABLE TO REACH OVER 15,000 SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY RESIDENTS, OFFERING THEM EDUCATION, PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND ASSISTED IN SCHEDULING OVER 300 VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS. THROUGH THE STOCKTON TRAUMA RECOVERY CENTER, THE ARM THE INSTITUTION THAT PROVIDES MENTAL HEALTH AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF VIOLENT CRIME, WE WERE ABLE TO SERVE 516 RESIDENTS OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY. WITHIN THIS BODY OF WORK, WE SERVED 61 NEW CLIENTS, OFFERED 1136 MENTAL HEALTH SESSIONS, PROVIDED 19 PARTICIPANTS WITH ASSISTANCE IN COMPLETING VICTIM COMPENSATION APPLICATIONS, CONDUCTED 31 OUTREACH ACTIVITIES AIMED AT INCREASING PROGRAM VISIBILITY AND PROVIDED 1100 HOLISTIC HEALING SERVICES TO THOSE IN NEED. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE STOCKTON TRAUMA RECOVERY CENTER, OUR WISDOM KEEPERS PROGRAM PROVIDED ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORTIVE PROGRAMMING TO OVER 200 ELDERS RESIDING WITH SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY. ALONGSIDE THIS WORK, FATHERS & FAMILIES OF SAN JOAQUIN HAS WORKED DIRECTLY WITH OVER 300 BOYS AND MEN OF COLOR, PROVIDING THEM ACCESS TO EMPLOYMENT, CASE MANAGEMENT, AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES THAT INCLUDED EMERGENCY UTILITY AND RENT SUPPORT; FUNDING TO ADDRESS FOOD INSECURITY; INTERVIEW CLOTHING; AND WHEN APPLICABLE, EMERGENCY HOUSING.
