INSILC DUTIES:1. DEVELOPED THE STATE PLAN FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING (SPIL) IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE DIRECTORS OF THE INDIANA CENTERS FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING.2. REVIEWED, MONITORED AND EVALUATED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SPIL.3. MET REGULARLY AND ENSURED SUCH MEETINGS WERE ACCESSIBLE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.4. SUBMITTED PERIODIC INDEPENDENT LIVING REPORTS TO THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE FEDERAL ADMINISTRATION ON COMMUNITY LIVING (ACL).5. COORDINATED INDEPENDENT LIVING ACTIVITIES WITH OTHER STATE ENTITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES SIMILAR TO OR COMPLIMENTARY TO INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES. INSILC AUTHORITIES :1. WORKED WITH CENTERS FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING TO COORDINATE SERVICES WITH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ENTITIES TO IMPROVE SERVICES PROVIDED TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES.2.
