RAINCATCHERS' MISSION IS TO DESIGN, INSTALL, AND MAINTAIN RAINWATER COLLECTION SYSTEMS IN HAITI. WE ORGANIZE SHORT TERM TRIPS TO DELIVER, INSTALL, AND MAINTAIN THE SYSTEMS, RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS FROM CHURCHES, HIGH SCHOOLS, AND COLLEGES. OUR GOAL IS TO A) ADDRESS THE DEPLORABLE YET PREVENTABLE HEALTH CONDITIONS THAT RESULT FROM HAITI'S CRITICAL SHORTAGE OF SAFE WATER, WHILE B) PROVIDING A YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING EXPERIENCE IN AN ENVIRONMENT REQUIRING THE ABILITY TO IMPROVISE AND ADAPT.
