THE PURPOSE OF THE FRIENDS OF THE SOUTH FERRY CHURCH ASSOCIATION SHALL BE:1. TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN AND REPAIR THE HISTORIC SOUTH FERRY CHURCH (THE CHURCH), LOCATED IN NARRAGANSETT, RHODE ISLAND.2. TO ESTABLISH, PRESERVE AND GROW AN ENDOWMENT FUND TO ASSURE THE PRESERVATION, MAINTENANCE AND SECURITY OF THE CHURCH.3. TO RE-ESTABLISH AND/OR CONTINUE THE USE OF SOUTH FERRY CHURCH AS A FORUM FOR SELECTED COMMUNITY EDUCATIONAL, INFORMATIVE AND/OR RELIGIOUS EVENTS.4. TO ENGAGE WITH OTHER MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH COUNTY COMMUNITY IN WAYS THAT MAY FURTHER THE PURPOSE OF THE FRIENDS OF THE SOUTH FERRY CHURCH ASSOCIATION AND/OR FURTHER POSITIVE OUTCOMES FOR THE COMMUNITY.
