THE COLLABORATIVE WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1992 AND BECAME AN INDEPENDENT NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION IN 1998. THE PROGRAM'S PURPOSE IS TO STRENGTHEN THE CAPACITY OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATIONS (CDCS) TO DEVELOP AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND REVITALIZE DISTRESSED COMMUNITIES.
