HOUSING - OUR HOUSING PROGRAMS WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES TO PROVIDE THEM WITH DECENT, AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES IN WHICH THEY PAY A 0% INTEREST MORTGAGE. THIS YEAR, WE BEGAN AND/OR COMPLETED 6 HOMES, AND REPAIRED 5 HOMES. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES ON HOW TO CONSTRUCT, REPAIR, AND MAINTAIN HOMES TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AS WELL AS STUDENTS AT CAREER CENTERS THROUGHOUT SOUTHEAST OHIO.
RESTORE - THE RESTORES SELL NEW AND GENTLY USED BUILDING SUPPLIES, HOME GOODS, FURNITURE, AND APPLIANCES AT GREAT DISCOUNTS. PROFITS FROM THE RESTORES ARE USED TO CONTINUE OUR HOUSING MISSION IN SOUTHEAST OHIO. THIS YEAR, WE DIVERTED OVER 600 TONS OF LANDFILL WASTE THROUGH THE RESTORES, WHICH PROVIDED GOODS TO OVER 30,000 FAMILIES, MANY OF WHOM ARE LOW-INCOME.
