RENO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES FIRE PROTECTION TO HOUSEHOLDS AND BUSINESSES IN MARIETTA TOWNSHIP ALONG WITH PROVIDING EMERGENCY RESCUE SERVICES. VOLUNTEERS ARE TRAINED AND PROVIDED WITH EQUIPMENT TO CARRY OUT THIS SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY. IN 1998 A NEW FIRE LEVY WAS PASSED THAT PROVIDES FUNDS FOR AN OUTSIDE AGENCY TO PROVIDE QUICK EMERGENCY RESPONSE DURING THE DAY. THE LEVY MONEY WAS USED FOR THIS PURPOSE. IN 2009 A BILLING SYSTEM WAS IMPLEMENTED TO BILL INSURANCE PROVIDERS FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL RUNS MADE. IN 2013, THE FULL TIME EMS SERVICE WAS IMPLEMENTED AND MANAGED BY RENO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARMENT.
