IN 2021, STONEROSE HAS 4,534 VISITORS TO OUR CENTER AND WE REACHED 549 K-12 SCHOOL CHILDREN EITHER ON SITE OR IN OUR OUTREACH PROGRAM. WE HAVE 3 SCIENTISTS CURRENTLY STUDYING OUR FOSSILS IN THEIR RESEARCH. OVER 150 SCIENTIFIC PAPERS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED TO-DATE. OUR VISITORS MAKE A SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE LOCAL ECONOMY THROUGH ACCOMODATIONS, MEALS, AND RETAIL PURCHASES WITH OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES. 3,290 VISITOR OVERNIGHT STAYS. STONEROSE PARTICIPATES IN ANNUAL EVENTS, SPECIFICALLY NATIONAL PARK SERVICE NATIONAL FOSSIL DAY, REGIONAL TOURISM TRADE SHOWS. STONEROSE HAS PRODUCED CONVERSATIONS WITH SCIENTISTS VIDEOS MADE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE AND ON YOUTUBE.
