IN 2022, STONEROSE HAS 6,000 VISITORS TO OUR CENTER AND WE REACHED 500 K-12 SCHOOL CHILDREN EITHER ON SITE OR IN OUR OUTREACH PROGRAM. WE HAD 3 SCIENTISTS STUDYING OUR FOSSIL COLLECTION FOR RESEARCH RESULTING IN SEVERAL PAPERS IN PUBLICATION, IN THEIR RESEARCH. OVER 150 SCIENTIFIC PAPERS HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED TO-DATE. STONEROSE IS THE SINGLE GREATEST TOURIST ATTRACTION IN THE COUNTY. OUR VISITORS MAKE A SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO THE LOCAL ECONOMY THROUGH ACCOMODATIONS, MEALS, AND RETAIL PURCHASES WITH OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES. STONEROSE PARTICIPATES IN ANNUAL EVENTS, SUCH AS NATIONAL PARK SERVICE NATIONAL FOSSIL DAY, AND REGIONAL TOURISM TRADE SHOWS. STONEROSE HAS PRODUCED CONVERSATIONS WITH SCIENTISTS VIDEOS MADE AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE AND ON YOUTUBE.
