TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE PROCUREMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF KIDNEYS AND OTHER ORGANS, TO EDUCATE THE MEDICAL AND LAY COMMUNITY CONCERNING ORGAN AND TISSUE PROCUREMENT, AND TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL, MEDICAL, ADMINISTRATIVE AND SOCIAL SERVICE TO PERSONS GIVING OR RECEIVING ORGANS FOR TRANSPLANT. IN 2021, LIFECENTER MANAGED 100 ORGAN DONORS, 678 TISSUE DONORS AND 357 IMPORTS OF ORGANS IN ORDER TO SAVE, ENHANCE AND CHANGE THE LIVES OF NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS IN NEED OF AN ORGAN OR TISSUE TRANSPLANT.ADDITIONAL SERVICES OFFERED BY LIFECENTER INCLUDE BEREAVEMENT SERVICES FOR DONOR FAMILIES, VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AND DONOR REGISTRY DRIVES FOR AREA BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS IN ORDER TO ASSIST IN THE ENROLLMENT OF DONORS. LIFECENTER PROVIDES 24-HOUR SERVICE FOR REFERRALS, CASE MANAGEMENT AND ORGAN PLACEMENT. LIFECENTER SERVES SOUTHWEST OHIO, NORTHERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST INDIANA AND WORKS WITH ALL OF THE HOSPITALS IN THIS AREA TO COORDINATE DONATION.
