UPHA RIBBONS OF SERVICE - SADDLESEAT EQUITATION RIDERS COMPETE WITH EACH OTHER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR AN APPROVED CHARITY. THE PROGRAM REQUIRES THE EQUITATION RIDERS TO COMMIT A DESIGNATED NUMBER OF HOURS TO THEIR CHOSEN CHARITY AND TO HELP RAISE AWARENESS AND FUNDS.
AMERICAN ROYAL PROGRAM - THE UPHA FOUNDATION AND THE AMERICAN ROYAL FOUNDATION PARTNER FOR THE UPHA AMERICAN ROYAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HORSE SHOW HELD ANNUALLY IN NOVEMBER AT THE AMERICAN ROYAL COMPLEX/KEMPER ARENA IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE HORSE SHOWS, STIMULATE INTEREST IN AND AWARENESS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN HORSE SHOWS AND EFFECT A BETTER UNDERSTANDING AMONG ASSOCIATIONS HOLDING EXHIBITIONS OF HORSES, TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE PARTICIPATION IN EQUESTRIAN ACTIVITIES AND INCREASE AWARENESS OF EQUESTRIAN SPORT.
PROGRAM SUPPORT - THE UPHA ANALYZES AND EVALUATES THE NEEDS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING EDUCATION AND SCIENCE PROGRAMS IN EQUESTRIAN FIELDS. IN THE EVENT THAT THESE ORGANIZATIONS MEET CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WILL APPROVE CONTRIBUTIONS.
