PROMONT HOUSE MUSEUM IS AN 1865 ITALIANATE BUILDING ON THE NATIONAL HISTORIC REGISTER. THE HOUSE IS OPEN 3 DAYS PER MONTH FOR GUIDED TOURS AND OTHER DAYS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS. TRAINED DOCENTS GUIDE THESE TOURS. APPROXIMATELY 2000 PEOPLE PER YEAR TOUR THE HOUSE.
PROMONT MAINTAINS A LIBRARY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. BY REQUEST, HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS AND BOOKS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RESEARCH. THE SOCIETY HAS PUBLISHED 2 HISTORICAL VOLUMES. THE SOCIETY ALSO PUBLISHES A QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER.
