THE KY CATV ASSOCIATION (KCTA) MONITORED CASES AT THE KENTUCKY PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (PSC) FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS ISSUES THAT COULD IMPACT THE CABLE INDUSTRY IN KENTUCKY. THE KCTA CONTINUED TO REVIEW TARIFFS FILED BY THE ELECTRIC AND TELEPHONE COMPANIES TO SEE IF THEY INCLUDED INCREASES IN RATES FOR POLE ATTACHMENTS. TARIFFS CONTAINING SUCH POLE ATTACHMENT RATE INCREASES WERE ANALYZED BY THE KCTA'S LEGAL COUNSEL TO DETERMINE WHETHER THEY FOLLOWED THE PSC'S POLE ATTACHMENT METHODOLGY ORDER.
THE KCTA HOSTED ONE LEGISLATIVE EVENT IN 2020. A LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION AT THE CAPITAL ANNEX IN FRANKFORT KENTUCKY IN FEBRUARY OF 2020, TO WHICH 35 MEMBERS OF THE KENTUCKY GENERAL ASSEMBLY ATTENDED.
