APPRISEN PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL COUNSELING AND EDUCATION TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES SEEKING TO IMPROVE THEIR FINANCIAL HEALTH. IN 2021, WE HELD APPROXIMATELY 6254 CONFIDENTIAL COUNSELING SESSIONS WITH PREDOMINANTLY LOW-TO-MODERATE INCOME CONSUMERS. OUR CERTIFIED COUNSELORS REVIEW INCOME, MONTHLY EXPENSES AND DEBT. THEY WORK WITH THE CLIENT TO SET FINANCIAL GOALS AND CREATE A PLAN TO ACHIEVE THEM. THE CLIENT RECEIVES A CUSTOMIZED PLAN OF ACTION TO IMPROVE THEIR FINANCIAL HEALTH. ABOUT 29% OF THOSE COUNSELED ENTER INTO A DEBT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (DMP). THE DMP IS A STRUCTURED PROGRAM THAT HELPS INDIVIDUALS REPAY THEIR UNSECURED DEBT. IN 2021, INDIVIDUALS IN OUR DMP PAID DOWN $29,372,234 WORTH OF DEBT & 83% OF ENROLLEES COMPLETED THEIR DMP SUCCESSFULLY.
