WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS AND THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION, THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING IN THE ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY. OUR PARTNERS ARE LOCAL ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS WHO OFFER JOB PLACEMENTS DURING THE APPRENTICESHIP PERIODS PROVIDING PARTICIPANTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN WHILE THEY LEARN. APPRENTICES ALSO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN CREDIT TOWARDS AN ASSOCIATE DEGREE THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH NORTHWEST STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE. THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM TAKES 5 YEARS AND INCLUDES A MINIMUM 900 HOURS OF CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION AND 8,000 HOURS OF ON-THE-JOB TRAINING.
