THE MIAMI VALLEY COUNCIL OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA PROVIDES SERVICES FOR BOYS AND YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN IN DARKE, MIAMI, MONTGOMERY, PREBLE AND SHELBY COUNTIES. THE PURPOSE OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR BOYS AND YOUNG ADULTS TO BUILD CHARACTER, TO TRAIN IN THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF PARTICIPATING CITIZENSHIP AND TO DEVELOP PERSONAL FITNESS.

COMPREHENSIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS: TIGER CUBS, CUB SCOUTS, BOY SCOUTS AND VENTURING. APPROXIMATELY 3,050 YOUTHS AND 1,255 ADULTS PARTICIPATED IN 2021.
CAMPING PROGRAMS AND RELATED ACTIVITIES. APPROXIMATELY 641 YOUTHS AND 242 ADULTS PARTICIPATED IN 2021 WITH 490 NON-UNIQUE YOUTH INDOOR ACTIVITIES AND 358 NON-UNIQUE YOUTH VIRTUAL ACTIVITIES.
