ACI'S CONSTRUCTION CAREER CENTER (CCC) WORKS TO CLOSE THE CINCINNATI REGION'S COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WORKFORCE AND SKILLS GAPS. THE CCC OFFERS WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS FROM CLASSROOM EXPLORATION THROUGH LONG-TERM EMPLOYMENT. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES IN THE SCHOOLS (K-12) AND COLLEGES AS WELL AS THROUGH ADULT EDUCATION AND TRAINING CLASSES & WORKSHOPS.
ACI ENGAGES IN ADVOCACY EFFORTS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO DRIVE POLICY DECISIONS AND LEGISLATION THAT REMOVE OBSTACLES AND FOSTER A GROWTH ENVIRONMENT FOR THE COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY. ADDITIONALLY, ACI'S ADVOCACY EFFORTS ARE FOCUSED ON ENSURING THE VOICES OF ITS MEMBERS AND THE CINCINNATI REGION'S COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY ARE HEARD AND CONSIDERED. FINALLY, ADVOCACY EFFORTS ARE UNDERTAKEN TO PROMOTE CAREERS IN CONSTRUCTION.
