ROUNDTABLERX IS MINNESOTA'S MEDICATION REPOSITORY. OUR MISSION IS TO OFFER SAFE AND AFFORDABLE MEDICATION TO MINNESOTANS IN NEED, PROVIDE CONTINUITY OF CARE AND REDUCE WASTE BY REDISTRIBUTING UNUSED MEDICATIONS.

ROUNDTABLERX IS A LICENSED WHOLESALE PHARMACY WITH THE MINNESOTA BOARD OF PHARMACY. THE ORGANIZATION FUNCTIONS AS THE SOLE STATE-CREATED MEDICATION REPOSITORY. IT IS OPERATED BY A LICENSED PHARMACIST AND SUPPORTED BY A TEAM OF VOLUNTEER PHARMACIST PHARMACY INTERNS AND OTHER SKILLED VOLUNTEERS. THE PROGRAM RECEIVES SURPLUS MEDICATION FROM LONG-TERM CARE ENTITIES, AND THE PUBLIC THEN INSPECTS INVENTORIES AND REDISTRIBUTES THEM TO DISPENSING CLINICS AND PHARMACY PARTNERS FUR UNDER-RESOURCED MINNESOTA PATIENTS. THE PROGRAM REDUCES THE AMOUNT OF MEDICATION DISPOSED CREATING A POSITIVE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT. THE PROGRAM STARTED IN THE SECOND HALF OF 2020, BUILDING ITS INFRASTRUCTURE, AND DEVELOPING ITS BUSINESS OPERATIONS, GOVERNANCE AND FINANCES. IT RECEIVED ITS FIRST GIFT OF MEDICATION IN DECEMBER 2020.
