THE PURPOSE OF HEROES AT HOME IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO THOSE WHO ARE CURRENTLY SERVING IN THE MILITARY AS WELL AS THOSE WHO DESIRE TO SERVE. WE DO THIS IN A VARIETY OF WAYS INCLUDING FINANCIAL EDUCATION, CONGRESSIONAL BRIEFINGS REGARDING SERVICE ACADEMY APPOINTMENTS AND SELECTIVE SERVICE EDUCATION. IN 2021 WE PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO 1,568 FAMILIES VIA IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL EDUCATION BY PARTICIPATING WITH THE DOD, USAFA, USNA, USMA, USMMA, THE SSS, AND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS. IN ADDITION WE PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MILITARY MEMBERS PRE AND POST DEPLOYMENT AS WELL AS ONE ON ONE FINANCIAL EDUCATION REGARDING MILITARY FINANCE.

HEROES AT HOME CONTINUES TO HAVE 90% OF THE DONATIONS GO DIRECTLY TOWARD SUPPORTING FINANCIAL EDUCATION TO MILITARY MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND WOMEN. IN 2021, 22 PROGRAMS WERE CREATED AND PRODUCED, REACHING 1,568 FAMILIES WITH MILITARY EDUCATION INCLUDING INFORMATION ON MILITARY EDUCATION DEBT, INCOME IN THE MILITARY, HOUSING IN THE MILITARY, SERVICE ACADEMY EDUCATION, CONGRESSIONAL SUPPORT FOR MILITARY FAMILIES & SERVICE ACADEMY MEMBERS. WE PROVIDED FINANCIAL RESOURCES TO 883 FAMILIES IN BOOKS GIVEN AWAY. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY FULL TIME SALARIES, BUT SUPPORT OUR PROGRAMS THROUGH VOLUNTEERS.
