PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR OVER 320 CHILDREN IN THE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM IN GHANA.THESE FUNDS ARE USED TO STABILIZE AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES SO CHILDREN CAN ATTEND SCHOOL AND GET AN EDUCATION. THIS IS OUR BEST TOOL FOR DECREASING THE RISK OF TRAFFICKING OF VULNERABLE CHILDREN.WE PROVIDED OVER 133,000 NUTRITIOUS, HOT MEALS SERVED TO THE HUNGRY. 1,800 INDIVIDUALS WERE GIVEN LIFESAVING MEDICAL CHECKUPS. THE MOST PREVALENT ILLNESS WAS MALARIA. 1,500 INDIVIDUALS WERE GIVEN A FREE EYE EXAM AND GLASSES AS NEEDED.OVER 500 CHILDREN WERE HELPED TO ATTEND SCHOOL. 420 OF THOSE CHILDREN ARE ON THE NURTURING NATIONS CAMPUS. MOST OF THESE CHILDREN WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND SCHOOL WITHOUT NURTURING NATIONS SUPPORT. 300 VILLAGES GIVEN ACCESS TO MEDICAL CARE BY THE CONSTRUCTION AND DEDICATION OF THE NEW MEDICAL CLINIC BUILDING IN THE RURAL VILLAGE OF ASSIN ADADIENTEM. 350 CHILDREN BENEFITED FROM 15 BOXES OF BOOKS DONATED FOR THEIR SCHOOL LIBRARY IN ASSIN ADADIENTEM. 180 PAIRS OF SHOES WERE DISTRIBUTED TO NEEDY CHILDREN. MOST OF THESE CHILDREN WERE WALKING BAREFOOT TO SCHOOL. RESCUED 8 CHILDREN THAT WERE TRAFFICKED. 6 HAVE SUCCESSFULLY BEEN REUNIFIED WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND 2 ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF REUNIFICATION. 70 WOMEN IN GHANA WERE PROVIDED WITH A WAY TO START THEIR OWN BUSINESS. MAKING IT POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO SUPPORT THEIR CHILDREN AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT. 35 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE VOCATIONAL SEWING PROGRAM ON THE NURTURING NATIONS CAMPUS. 30 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE VOCATIONAL ANIMAL HUSBANDRY PROGRAM ON THE NURTURING NATIONS CAMPUS. HELPED NOURISH 4 PREGNANT TEENAGERS DURING THEIR PREGNANCY AND HELPED THEM GET PROPER MEDICAL CARE. SAFE DELIVERIES AND 4 HEALTHY NEWBORNS ARE THE RESULT. PURCHASED LAND TO BUILD A NEW SCHOOL IN LA ACCRA WHICH WILL GIVE OVER 350 CHILDREN THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND SCHOOL THAT COULDNT OTHERWISE. HELPED WITH THE LAUNCH OF A NEW ADOPTION MANUAL FOR GHANA.CONSTRUCTED A NEW TOILET FACILITY WITH 8 UNITS ON THE NURTURING NATIONS CAMPUS TO MEET THE GROWING NEED OF ADDITIONAL STUDENTS. PURCHASED 60 NEW DESKS TO MEET THE PRESSURE POSED BY THE GROWING STUDENT POPULATION.4 CHILDREN WERE RESCUED FROM CERTAIN DEATH AND ADMITTED TO THE SPECIAL CARE HOUSE.FULLY FUNDED SUCCESSFUL EYE SURGERIES FOR 3 CHILDREN AND 2 MOTHERS. THE FIRST NURTURING NATIONS CHILDRENS SPORTS TEAMS WERE CREATED. THE CHILDREN PARTICIPATED IN INTERSCHOOL COMPETITIONS WINNING IN SOCCER AND VOLLEYBALL. 300 CHILDREN RECEIVED A SCHOOL/HYGIENE KIT. STOPPED HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN FROM BEING TRAFFICKED BY PLACING THE MOST AT-RISK CHILDREN IN THE NURTURING NATIONS SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM.SAVED 8 INDIVIDUALS LIVES BY PROVIDING LIFESAVING MEDICAL INTERVENTIONSFINISHED CONSTRUCTION AT KOFI KWEI ON A SUMMER HUT FOR THE CHILDREN IN THE SPECIAL CARE HOUSE. THIS IS A COVERED PAVILION THAT ALLOWS THE CHILDREN TO HAVE SHADE WHILE BEING OUTSIDE IN THE OPEN AIR.
HELPED CONSTRUCT A CHILDRENS HOME IN UGANDA GIVING 19 CHILDREN SAFETY AND SECURITY.
IN 2022 PROVIDED A WELL AND SEED MONEY FOR A WOMENS GARDEN IN MALI. IN 2023, 152 WOMEN IN MALI SUCCESSFULLY GREW GARDENS TO BECOME MORE SELF-SUFFICIENT AFTER NURTURING NATIONS DRILLED WELLS MAKING THIS POSSIBLE.
