CODY'S FRIEND RESCUE IS A VOLUNTEER-POWERED NON PROFIT DEDICATED TO RESCUING HOMELESS NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED DOGS THROUGHOUT NORTH TEXAS AND SURROUNDING AREA AND FINDING THEM LOVING FOREVER HOMES.

ADOPTION PROGRAM: CODY'S FRIENDS RESCUE CFR PRIMARY PROGRAM IS THE ADOPTION OF CANINES INTO LOVING HOMES. ALL DOGS BROUGHT INTO CFR ARE ALTERED AND VETTED PRIOR TO ADOPTION. FOR 2023 CFR ADOPTED OUT 550 DOGS AND TOOK IN 727 DOGS THAT WERE LOST AND ABANDONED AND FROM VARIOUS DFW METROPLEX SHELTERS. THOSE THAT WERE NOT ADOPTED IN 2023 REMAINED IN FOSTER CARE INTO 2024. SINCE THE INCEPTION OF CFR IN 2012 OVER 9,000 DOGS HAVE BEEN SAVED AND PLACED IN CAREFULLY SCREENED LOVING ADOPTIVE HOMES.
