THE COMMUNITY CATALYST ACTION FUND (CCAF) IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING CONSUMERS ARE ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN THE DECISION-MAKING THAT SHAPES OUR HEALTH AND HEALTH SYSTEM.THAT MEANS INFLUENCING OR CHANGING THE LANDSCAPE TO MAKE ACCESS TO COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CARE A CENTRAL TENET OF POLICYMAKING AND CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONSUMERS TO PARTICIPATE FULLY AND DIRECTLY IN THE CREATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF LAWS AFFECTING THEIR ACCESS TO QUALITY CARE.WE ELECT CANDIDATES WHO WILL RELENTLESSLY PROTECT AND CHAMPION ACCESS TO QUALITY, AFFORDABLE CARE AND GET INVOLVED IN EFFORTS THAT CENTER HEALTH CARE AND JUSTICE IN POLICY AND DECISION MAKING.

AFFORDABLE CARE ACT IMPLEMENTATION FUND (ACAIF) PROVIDES NEW SUPPORT TO STATE-BASED HEALTH ADVOCATES IN THE FORM OF GRANTS WHICH WILL BE USED TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE AND CONSUMER FOCUSED IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT.THE ACTION FUND WAS CREATED TO ENSURE THAT NATIONAL, STATE, AND LOCAL HEALTH CARE POLICIES AND DELIVERY SYSTEMS MEET COMMUNITY AND INDIVIDUAL NEEDS BY SPONSORING AND PROMOTING PUBLIC EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN POLICY-MAKING, AND COLLABORATION AMONG STAKE-HOLDERS AND OTHERS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE NATION'S HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. THE ACTION FUND PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR STATE-BASED HEALTH ADVOCACY TO ENSURE HEALTH REFORM REFLECTS CONSUMER INTERESTS AND CONCERNS, ESPECIALLY THOSE OF LOW-INCOME AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS.
