THE REFUGEE RESPONSE WAS FORMED TO HELP REFUGEES ADJUST TO LIFE IN NORTHEAST OHIO. THE FOUNDATION WORKS TO EMPOWER THE AREA'S GROWING NEWCOMER POPULATION, PARTICULARLY THOSE HERE BETWEEN THREE MONTHS AND FIVE YEARS, BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES TO ACQUIRE THE SKILLS THEY NEED TO SUCCEED IN THEIR NEW COMMUNITIES. Part 3 - Line 4a

THE REFUGEE EMPOWERMENT AGRICULTURAL PROGRAM (REAP), OPERATES ONE OF THE LARGEST CONTIGUOUS URBAN FARMS IN THE NATION. BESIDES PROVIDING WORKSHOPS, FIVE (5) REFUGEES WERE EMPLOYEED AND PAID FOR THEIR EFFORTS ON THE URBAN FARM.
