THE FOUNDATION WILL SUPPORT AND FURTHER THE INTEREST OF THE AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE QUALIFIED UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE CODE (NAMELY CCI, ACI, MILESTONE, LIFEWAYS, AND PFQ, AS DESCRIBED IN SCHEDULE R BY RAISING, INVESTING, AND DISTRIBUTING FUNDS IN WAYS WHICH BENEFIT, MAINTAIN, AND IMPROVE SUCH AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS. MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE FOUNDATION WILL IMPLEMENT A VARIETY OF SPECIAL EVENTS, CAMPAIGNS, AND PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT ITS AFFILIATES. THESE FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES WILL BE DIRECTED AND COORDINATED BY FOUNDATION STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS. THE FOUNDATION INTENDS TO MANAGE, INVEST, AND REINVEST THE FUNDS, AND TO MAKE GRANTS TO ITS AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS IN SUPPORT OF THEIR CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES.
