AMAZING GRACE INTERNATIONAL, INC. CONTINUED IN ITS MISSION TO HELP POOR STUDENTS IN VIETNAM AND TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL. WE CONTINUED HELPING UNDERPRIVILEGED ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN VIETNAM COVER THEIR TUITION. WE PROVIDED GRANTS AND STIPENDS TO A FEW UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO HAVE AGED OUT OF THE PROGRAM AND GONE ON TO UNIVERSITY TO HELP THEM WITH THEIR TUITION AND OTHER SCHOOL COSTS. WE ALSO WORKED WITH TWO CHURCHES: ONE IN HO CHI MINH CITY AND THE OTHER IN CAN THO IN VIETNAM. WE PROVIDE STIPENDS TO THEIR MINISTERS AND PAY TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR TWO OF THEM TO ALTERNATE TRAVELING AND PREACHING IN THE CHURCH IN HO CHI MINH. WE AIDED THE CHURCH IN HO CHI MINH TO LOCATE A NEW PLACE OF WORSHIP AND WE GAVE THEM A GRANTTO REFURBISH THE LOCATION FOR WORSHIP AND, WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF OUR DONORS, PAID THE RENT ON THAT FACILITY. WE ALSO AIDED THE CHURCH IN CAN THO BY RENOVATING ONE OF THE ROOMS IN THEIR FACILITY THAT IS USED NOT ONLY FOR WORSHIP AND BIBLE STUDY, BUT ALSO FOR CLASSES IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, CONDUCTED FREE FOR THOSE WHO ATTEND. ONE OF OUR BOARD MEMBERS, STEVE HAWLEY, TRAVELED TO CAN THO AND SPENT A MONTH THERE IN THE SUMMER CONDUCTING SUMMER OUTREACH PROGRAMS FOR THE CHILDREN. THIS WAS HIS TWELFTH YEAR TO DO THIS. OUR PRESIDENT TRAVELED THERE IN THE FALL AND MET WITH AND INTERVIEWED MOST OF THE CHILDREN WE HELP. WE ALSO PROVIDED A GRANT TO TWO SCHOOLS WHICH TEACH ENGLISH. AMAZING GRACE HAD A HAND IN HELPING TO FOUND BOTH OF THESE SCHOOLS.
