AQUATIC DEBRIS ERADICATION PROGRAM:WE REMOVED APPROX. 300 POUNDS OF TRASH FROM IN AND AROUND RIVERS AND LAKES WITH THE HELP OF VOLUNTEERS. WE REMOVED OVER 1,000 POUNDS OF MARINE DEBRIS FROM OCEAN SHORELINES WITH THE HELP OF VOLUNTEERS. WE POSTED PICTURES OF OUR WORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC TO GET OUSIDE AND TAKE A STEWARDSHIP ROLE IN THE PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF NATURE.
TRAIL MAINTENANCE PROGRAM:WE MAINTAINED OVER 20 MILES OF HIKING/OHV TRAILS. EVERYTHING FROM CUTTING AND CLEARING DOWNED TREES TO CUTTING BACK INVASIVE VEGETATION AND REMOVING BOULDERS THAT HAD ROLLED DOWNHILL AND BLOCKED TRAILS. WE ALSO POSTED PICTURES OF OUR WORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO ENCOURAGE THE PUBLIC TO GET OUTSIDE AND TAKE A STEWARDSHIP ROLES IN THE PROTECTION AND CONSERVATION OF NATURE.
