CORPORATE WORSHIP - PROVIDING MEETING SPACE AND MINISTERIAL SUPPORT FOR RELIGIOUS SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATION OF SACRAMENTS,600 SERVED PER MONTH.


HUMAN SERVICES-FOOD/BASIC NEEDS: FOOD PANTRY (CLEVELAND FOODBANK AGENCY)- 800 PEOPLE/MO; FREE BREAD AND PASTRY DISTRIBUTION (COMMUNITY NIGHT): 70- 90/WK. THROUGH DIRECT BREAD DONATIONS RECEIVED FROM GIANT EAGLE GROCERY STORES; COMMUNITY MEAL PROGRAM-300 MEALS; FREE KIDS SUMMER CAMP AND HOT MEAL PROGRAM-105 KIDS, 1,000 MEALS; ANGEL TREE CHRISTMAS GIFT PROGRAM-60 KIDS. HUMAN SERVICES-COUNSELING/RECOVERY: ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS-GREATER CLEVELAND SOUTHEAST CHAPTER-300 PEOPLE/MO; DOMESTIC VIOLENCE; PEER SUPPORT GROUP-80 PEOPLE/MO. HUMAN SERVICES-AT-RISK YOUTH: GARFIELD HEIGHTS CAMPUS LIFE BASKETBALL CLUBS-400 TEENS/MO; CAMPUS LIFE MIDDLE SCHOOL CLUB 100 STUDENTS / MO; BACKYARD BIBLE CLUBS 20 STUDENTS. HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAMS AND PARTNERS-WE ARE THE FIRST LINE OF ASSISTANCE FOR MANY FAMILIES IN OUR AREA, REACHING AN AVERAGE OF 2,150 PEOPLE/MO. WITH OUR VARIOUS HUMAN SERVICES. THE ROCK COMMUNITY CHURCH, AN INNER RING EASTERN SUBURB OF CLEVELAND, IS SURROUNDED BY EXTREME POVERTY WITH POVERTY RATES OF 50% TO OVER 75%. AREA BUSINESSES ANNUALLY DONATE APPROXIMATELY 200,000 WORTH OF FOOD ITEMS TO THE ROCK FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE POOR. THESE HUMAN SERVICES ARE GIVEN WITHOUT ANY PRESSURE TO ATTEND THE CHURCH OR THE RECIPIENT'S RELIGIOUS BELIEFS. THE MAJOR AREAS OF OUR CURRENT HUMAN SERVICES INCLUDE: (1) FOOD PANTRY FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES; (2) OPEN COMMUNITY FREE BREAD/PASTRY DISTRIBUTIONS; (3) FREE COMMUNITY HOT MEALS; (4) ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GIFT DISTRIBUTION; (5) FREE 6 WEEK SUMMER CAMP AND HOT LUNCH PROGRAM; (6) ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS- SOUTHEAST CHAPTER; (7) CUYAHOGA COUNTY'S DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT GROUP; AND (8)VARIOUS AT-RISK YOUTH PROGRAMS THAT WE ADMINISTERS IN THE GARFIELD HEIGHTS PUBLIC SCHOOLS. 55% OF OUR BUILDING (USAGE TIME) IS USED FOR VARIOUS HUMAN SERVICES. HUMAN SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS OR CUYAHOGA COUNTY'S DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUPPORT GROUP ARE ALLOWED FREE USAGE OF THE CHURCH FACILITIES WITHOUT RENTAL FEES. 100% OF COMMUNITY AND HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAMS ARE ADMINISTERED THROUGH NON- PAID VOLUNTEERS(APPROXIMATELY 50 VOLUNTEERS).


DISCIPLESHIP, HOSPITALITY AND FELLOWSHIP - TRAINING AND SOCIALIZATION FOR RELIGIOUS CONGREGANTS, 100 SERVED PER MONTH.
