THE CHNC HAS DEVELOPED AND OPERATES A DATABASE USED FOR COMPARATIVE QUALITY AND OUTCOME MEASURES FOR THE UNIQUE POPULATION OF MEDICALLY COMPLEX NEONATES AND INFANTS TREATED IN AMERICAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS LEVEL IV NICUS. THERE ARE 44 PARTICIPATING HOSPITALS OF THIS CHNC DATABASE. CHNC MANAGES A NATIONAL QUALITY COLLABORATIVE, ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM, AND PROVIDES THE STRUCTURE FOR DATA ANALYTICS AND REPORTING BY THE PARTICIPATING HOSPITALS. THIS WORK RESULTS IN IMPROVED PATIENT OUTCOMES AND IN RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
