HOUSING SERVICES: WE PROVIDE A BROAD RANGE OF HOUSING-RELATED SERVICES-- MOSTLY CASE MANAGEMENT--TO INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING OR ESCAPING HOMELESSNESS. IN 2021, WE EMPOWERED MORE THAN 400 PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS (INCLUDING FAMILIES) ESCAPE HOMELESSNESS. OUR HOUSING-FOCUSED PROGRAMS INCLUDE HOUSING FIRST INITIATIVE, FREQUENT UTILIZERS SYSTEM ENGAGEMENT (FUSE), AND RAPID RE-HOUSING. WE ARE ALSO A PRIMARY SERVICE PROVIDER ON-SITE AT MASON PLACE, A PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING PROJECT DEVELOPED AND MANAGED BY OUR LOCAL HOUSING AUTHORITY.
COVID-19/HEALTH INITIATIVE: WE LAUNCHED AND MANAGED NUMEROUS COVID-19 PANDEMIC RESPONSE PROGRAMS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: (A) CO-MANAGEMENT OF LARIMER COUNTY'S OFFICIAL ISOLATION/RECOVERY QUARANTINE SITE FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, (B) OPERATION OF A NON-CONGREGATE SHELTER SITE FOR PEOPLE OVER 65 AND/OR WITH UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITIONS, AND (C) VACCINATION EDUCATION AND OUTREACH AND HOSTING OF VACCINATION CLINICS.
MURPHY CENTER: WE SERVED MORE THAN 2,500 UNDUPLICATED INDIVIDUALS AT THE MURPHY CENTER FOR HOPE, A RESOURCE CENTER FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING OR AT- RISK OF HOMELESSNESS. THE MURPHY CENTER HOSTS MORE THAN 20 NONPROFITS THAT, COLLECTIVELY, PROVIDE MORE THAN 40 UNIQUE SERVICES. HOMEWARD ALLIANCE OPERATES THE MURPHY CENTER.
RE-ENTRY: WE PROVIDE INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT TO PEOPLE ON PAROLE WHOM THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS IDENTIFIES AS MEDIUM-TO-HIGH RISK OF RECIDIVISM. RE-ENTRY IS FUNDED BY THE WORK AND GAIN EMPLOYMENT AND EDUCATIONS SKILLS (WAGEES) PROGRAM, A STATEWIDE INITIATIVE PASSED THROUGH THE COLORADO STATE LEGISLATURE. IN 2021, WE SERVED MORE THAN 65 PARTICIPANTS AND MAINTAINED A RECIDIVISM RATE OF LESS THAN 7%. FAMILY HOUSING: WE HELPED 61 FAMILIES ESCAPE OR AVOID HOMELESSNESS, INCLUDING 219 HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS. DEDICATED NAVIGATOR: BILINGUAL RESOURCE NAVIGATORS (STAFF) HELP INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE HOMELESS WITH TASK-ORIENTED SERVICES (DOCUMENT ACQUISITION, HOUSING SEARCH ASSISTANCE, ETC.) INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE HOMELESS. NAVIGATORS ALSO CONDUCT INTAKES AND SERVE AS THE PRIMARY ENTRY POINT FOR INDIVIDUALS INTO THE REGION'S COORDINATED ENTRY SYSTEM. IN 2021, NAVIGATORS SERVED 1,264 INDIVIDUALS, CONDUCTED 740 INTAKES, AND HELPED MORE THAN 500 INDIVIDUALS OBTAIN IDS AND/OR BIRTH CERTIFICATES. HAND UP: WE HELPED SECURE 149 JOBS FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WHO WERE HOMELESS OR AT-RISK OF BEING HOMELESS AND RECORDED 317 TRANSACTIONS OUT OF OUR CAREER CLOSET (A CAREER GEAR CLOSET WITH SUPPLIES THAT INDIVIDUALS NEED TO INTERVIEW FOR OR START EMPLOYMENT). FAMILY RESOURCES (FORMERLY CHILDREN IN NEED): WE HOST QUARTERLY SERVICE EVENTS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WHO ARE HOMELESS. WE ALSO MANAGE A CLOTHING/HYGIENE/FOOD CLOSET THROUGH WHICH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS CAN OBTAIN SUPPLIES FOR THE FAMILIES THEY SERVE. IN 2021, WE SERVED MORE THAN 350 FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS OR HOUSING INSECURITY AT QUARTERLY EVENTS, AND AN ADDITIONAL 769 FAMILIES AT OUR FAMILY CLOTHING, HYGIENE, AND FOOD CLOSET. HMIS: WE ARE THE HOMELESS MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (HMIS) LEAD AGENCY FOR THE NORTHERN COLORADO CONTINUUM OF CARE (NOCO COC). THROUGH THAT ROLE, WE OVERSEE THE DATA SYSTEMS FOR MORE THAN 20 AGENCIES ACROSS LARIMER AND WELD COUNTIES, SUBMIT REQUIRED FEDERAL AND STATE DATA REPORTS, AND ENSURE DATA QUALITY ACROSS THE REGION. BIKE REPAIR: WE ENSURE SAFE, RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH BICYCLE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR. IN 2021, THE BIKE REPAIR TEAM (ALL VOLUNTEERS) REPAIRED 271 BIKES ACROSS 16 REPAIR CLINICS AT THE MURPHY CENTER, MOBILE HOME PARKS, AND TREATMENT CENTERS. THE PROGRAM SERVED 305 INDIVIDUALS (ADULTS AND CHILDREN).
