INCREASE ACCESS TO FRESH PRODUCE & OTHER HEALTHY FOODS TO AREA HUNGER- RELIEF SITES SERVING AT-RISK, FOOD-INSECURE POPULATIONS BY PROVIDING LOCAL FARMERS & FOOD PRODUCERS FREE DELIVERY & DISTRIBUTION OF THEIR SURPLUS.

OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS, WE HAVE DISTRIBUTED 3,700,000 POUNDS OF HEALTHY FOOD FROM 43 FARM PARTNERS TO MORE THAN 80 HUNGER RELIEF SITES, INCLUDING FOOD PANTRIES, SHELTERS, SOUP KITCHENS, LOW-INCOME SENIOR AND HEALTH CENTERS. THE DISTRIBUTION OF NUTRITIOUS FOOD BENEFITS MORE THAN 32,400 ADULTS AND CHILDREN EACH MONTH IN NEED OF HELP. WITH THE HELP OF MORE THAN 250 DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS IN 2021 DEDICATING 3900 HOURS, WE RESCUED 748,000 POUNDS (3.4 MILLION HEALTHY SERVINGS) OF PRODUCE AND ORGANIC FARM PROTEINS, EFFICIENTLY RE-DISTRIBUTING IT TO NEIGHBORS IN NEED, AND KEEPING IT OUT OF LANDFILL. WE CONTINUE TO PARTNER WITH SEVERAL OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO FURTHER IDENTIFY AND ALLEVIATE HUNGER AND ITS ASSOCIATED POOR NUTRITION THROUGHOUT THE REGION. WE HAVE INCREASED OUR NUTRITION AND CULINARY EDUCATION OUTREACH PROGRAM SIGNIFICANTLY TO TEACH HEALTHY EATING FOR LIFE TO THOUSANDS OF RECIPIENTS. WE REMAIN COMMITTED TO KEEPING SURPLUS HEALTHY FOOD OUT OF LANDFILLS AND DIVERTING IT TO OUR NEIGHBORS IN NEED.
