ACADEMY OF THE CITY CHARTER SCHOOL (AOC) IS AN EDUCATIONAL CORPORATION THAT OPERATES AS A CHARTER SCHOOL IN THE BOROUGH OF QUEENS, NEW YORK CITY. AOC WAS ORGANIZED TO INCREASE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS THROUGH INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND TO ENABLE PARENTS TO BE MORE INVOLVED IN THEIR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION. IN FISCAL YEAR 2020, AOC OPERATED CLASSES FOR 528 STUDENTS IN GRADES K-6.
