SCHOLAR ATHLETES, INC. (THE ORGANIZATION") IS A REGISTERED 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO IMPROVE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT THROUGH ATHLETICS. THE ORGANIZATION FOSTERS INDIVIDUAL STUDENT-ATHLETE GROWTH THROUGH A FOCUS ON THREE CORE PROGRAM AREAS: ACADEMIC COACHING AND MENTORING, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, AND COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS INITIATIVES. THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERS WITH PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS TO HELP CLOSE THE OPPORTUNITY GAP FOR THOUSANDS OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN GRADES 9-12 ACROSS THE COMMONWEALTH. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED TO SUPPORT VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL ENDEAVORS FOR THE RELIEF AND BETTERMENT OF STUDENTS AND STUDENT-ATHLETES IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, AND TO FOSTER INDIVIDUAL STUDENT-ATHLETE GROWTH THROUGH MENTORING, COACHING, AND CONDITIONING THROUGH THE SUPPORT OF ATHLETIC AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT PROGRAMS. THE CENTER OF THE ACADEMIC PROGRAM IS THE ZONE, A SCHOOL-BASED LEARNING CENTER FOR SCHOLAR-ATHLETES TO RECEIVE ACADEMIC SUPPORT.
