FUNDS RAISED ARE DISBURSED TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF SAN ANTONIO, TX TO COVER THE LIFESAVING TREATMENT OF CHILDREN FROM UKRAINE


POLINA SIDORENKO - MEDICAL TREATMENT CONTINUES IN UKRAINE DUE TO ITS URGENCY TO SAVE FOOT AND DELAYS ASSOCIATED WITH US VISA PROCESS. IN 2021, 3 TRIPS TO DNIPRO MEDICAL CENTER WERE MADE TO STOP INFECTION IN HER RIGHT FOOT AND THEN TO START THE FEMUR EXTENSION TREATMENT WITH ILIZAROV DEVICE. SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMMODATION ARRANGEMENTS HAD TO BE MADE. ALL OF THE PROCEDURES WERE VERY SUCCESSFUL AND THE PROCESS IS STILL ONGOING.


SOFIA ROVNOVA - REQUIRED THE SELECTIVE DORSAL RHIZOTOMY PROCEDURE THAT WOULD ENABLE HER TO WALK. BIG DREAMS WAS ABLE TO RAISE THE AMOUNT AND DISBURSED IT TO THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL OF SAINT LOUIS TO PROVIDE A PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR THE SURGERY. THE SURGERY WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL AND SOFIA IS NOW UNDERGOING REHABILITATION.
