WORLD-CLASS INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN AND ASSESSMENT (WIDA) - PROVIDES DISSEMINATED EDUCATION MATERIALS THAT HELP K-12 EDUCATORS SERVE STUDENTS WHO ARE NEW TO THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS.
EDUCATION - EACH YEAR WCEPS DETERMINES WHETHER EXCESS REVENUE CAN BE DISTRIBUTED TO THE UW AND UW FOUNDATION. IN FISCAL YEAR 2022 WCEPS GRANTED $342,000 TO UW FOUNDATION. WE DO THIS VIA THE UW MADISON AND UW FOUNDATION SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION PER BELOW: THE CORPORATION IS AUTHORIZED BY ITS ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION TO BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY "FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES [OF], OR TO CARRY OUT THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES OF, THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON AND UW FOUNDATION, AND IN PARTICULAR, OF ITS SCHOOL OF EDUCATION." LEADERSHIP EVALUATION TOOLS - CONSIST OF COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT OF LEADERSHIP FOR LEARNING AND AIW INSTITUTE THAT PROVIDES LEADERSHIP EVALUATION TOOLS FOR K-12 SCHOOLS TO UNDERSTAND IF THEY ARE SERVING ALL STUDENTS OF ALL ABILITIES AND SOCIOECONOMIC STATUSES.
