STM PROVIDES GRANTS PAID FOR THE BENEFIT OF CANCER PATIENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND CAREGIVERS. THESE GRANTS ARE CALLED "STOMPSX AND MAY INCLUDE RENT PAYMENTS, GAS CARDS, FOOD STORE CARDS OR ANY HELP WITH HOUSEHOLD RELATED EXPENSE (GAS OR ELECTRIC). OTHER EXAMPLES INCLUDE ARRANGING FOR MEALS, PAYMENT OF MEDICAL BILLS, INSURANCE OR CHILDCARE. STM HELPS WITH ANY REQUIREMENT THAT MAY ARISE IN A PATIENT'S TIME OF NEED .
