AUSTIN ACHIEVE PUBLIC SCHOOLS, INC. (AAPS) OPERATES ONE TEXAS OPEN-ENROLLMENT CHARTER SCHOOL UNDER ONE STATE CHARTER GRANTED IN JULY 2012 BY THE TEXAS STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION. THE SCHOOL IS LOCATED IN AUSTIN, TEXAS AND SERVES APPROXIMATELY 2,200 STUDENTS FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE. THE SCHOOL IS STRATEGICALLY LOCATED IN A NEIGHBORHOOD IN EAST AUSTIN THAT HAS NOT TRADITIONALLY HAD ACCESS TO GREAT EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, AND SEEKS TO PREPARE THE YOUTH OF EAST AUSTIN TO ATTEND AND EXCEL AT THE NATION'S TOP COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
