WESTFIELD YOUTH ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SERVES AS AN EARLY INTERVENTION ADVOCATE FOR YOUTH AGES 3-17 WHO ARE FACING CHALLENGING LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES. WE TAKE A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO COORDINATE OUR COMMUNITY'S VAST ARRAY OF TALENTS, SERVICES AND RESOURCES TO HELP YOUTH AND EMPOWER PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS.

WE CONTINUED TO FOCUS OUR ENERGIES ON CONNECTING YOUTH TO PRO-SOCIAL ENRICHMENT THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL YEAR AS WELL AS TO INCREASE THEIR CONNECTION TO THEIR PEERS, COMMUNITY, AND TO HELP OUR YOUTH FIND OUTLETS FOR GROWTH AND CONSTRUCTIVE USE OF TIME. WE CONNECTED 184 YOUTH TO ENRICHMENT AND CAMP OPPORTUNITIES.


WE RECOGNIZED 20 STUDENTS WHO HAVE OVERCOME ADVERSITY, DEMONSTRATED POSITIVE CHANGE OR MADE A POSITIVE ACADEMIC TURNAROUND.


IN ORDER TO GUIDE OUR YOUTH TOWARDS ESTABLISHING A STRONGER CONNECTION WITHIN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH A POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP, 50 YOUTH WERE MATCHED WITH A MENTOR AND 34 STUDENTS WERE SERVED BY WYAP TUTORS IN 2021.


THE WESTFIELD YOUTH ASSITANCE PROGRAM SERVED A TOTAL OF 273 YOUTH.
