EDUCARE THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE RESOURCES, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES TO CHILDCARE PROVIDERS WHO ACCEPT STATE SUBSIDY. EDUCARE WORKS TO IMPROVE THE EARLY LEARNING EXPERIENCES FOR LOW-INCOME CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO SIX YEARS OF AGE.
POWER PROGRAM THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMIC STATUS OF LOW INCOME, NON-CUSTODIAL PARENTS IN ANDREW, ATCHISON, BUCHANAN, CALDWELL, CLINTON, DAVIESS, DEKALB, GENTRY, HARRISON, HOLT, NODAWAY, AND WORTH COUNTIES IN MISSOURI. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM NON-CUSTODIAL PARENTS ARE ASSISTED WITH GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT THAT MAY LEAD THE INDIVIDUAL TO MAKE A BETTER LIFE CHOICE, INCLUDING CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT, THAT IMPROVES THEIR PARENTING AND ECONOMIC SUCCESS.
YOUTH BUILD THIS PROGRAM IS A COMMUNITY BASED PRE APPRENTICESHIP ACTIVITY THAT PROVIDES JOB TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR AT RISK YOUTH AGES 16-24 WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY DROPPED OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. IN ADDITION TO OBTAINING THEIR HI-SET, THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS PARTICIPANTS TWO CAREER PATHS PARTICIPANTS CAN EARN CREDENTIALS IN EITHER THE HOME BUILDERS INSTITUTE OR CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT PROGRAM.
