THE CORPORATION'S PRIMARY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE HOLDING PERIODIC GENERAL MEETINGS, ESTABLISHING AND FACILITATING COMMITTEES AND SPONSORING EVENTS AND PROGRAMS.

HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVED THE PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION BY (1) PROVIDING A LOCAL, FUN AND EDUCATIONAL FAMILY EVENT WHICH THE POUND RIDGE COMMUNITY MEMBERS WERE DESIROUS OF HAVING IN THEIR OWN BUSINESS DISTRICT, (II) INCREASING CIVIC PRIDE AND BEAUTIFICATION EFFORTS FOCUSED IN THE POUND RIDGE BUSINESS DISTRICT, (III) PROVIDING COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY MEMBERS, ESPECIALLY THE YOUTH, WHICH IMPROVE THE BUSINESS DISTRICT IN A FUN AND MEANINGFUL WAY AND ENCOURAGE FURTHER VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT FROM THE COMMUNITY AND (IV) INCREASING COLLABORATION AMONG COMMUNITY GROUPS IN POUND RIDGE AND BRINGING TOGETHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF ALL AGES.
