ANNUAL CONCERT SERIES WOULD HAVE INCLUDED SEVEN CONCERTS PERFORMED AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE SOMERSET HILLS AREA INCLUDING PRIVATE HOMES, CHURCHES, OUTDOOR RECREATION SPACE, AND ASSISTED LIVING HALL LOCATIONS. TICKET PRICES RANGE FROM FREE TO $175 DEPENDING ON THE LOCATION/PERFORMER. DUE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK MISH WAS RESTRICTED BY STATE GUIDELINES FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PERFORMANCES. FALL OF 2020 MISH IN CONJUNCTION WITH CENTER FOR MUSICAL EXCELLENCE HOSTED 'MOZART ON THE MEADOW' AT AN ESTATE IN BEDMINSTER. INDOOR CONCERTS WERE ADJUSTED TO VIRTUAL PERFORMANCES (11/14/20, 12/05/20, 01/09/21, 02/13/21, 03/13/21 & 04/17/21) FOR A NOMINAL TICKET PRICE OF $20 OR ALL 6 FOR $100. ADDITIONALLY, MISH WAS ABLE TO HOST AN OUTDOOR CONCERT IN CONJUNCTION WITH ESSEX HORSE TRIALS TO KICK OFF THEIR EVENT WEEKEND IN FAR HILLS ON 07/16/21 FOR $75 PER PERSON/$125 VIP COCKTAIL PARTY & SEATING. PERFORMANCES DURING 2020-2021 WERE PRERECORDED AND INCLUDED A NARRATIVE PROVIDING INSIGHT TO THE PIECES PERFORMED AND INTERVIEWS WITH THE PERFORMERS. PERFORMERS INCLUDED MERYNDA ADAMS (HARP) & JOHN ROMERI (FLUTE), KARIM SULAYMAN (GRAMMY-WINNING TENOR) & YI HENG YANG (PIANIST), MEMBERS OF LES DELICES (MEDIEVAL MUSIC), BRIAN HARLOW & CHRISTOPHER JENNINGS (BOTH KEYBOARDS - FEATURING PIPE ORGANS), KRISTIN SANDS (SOPRANO) STEPHEN SANDS (TENOR) & DAN FOSTER (KEYBOARDS), ALEXI TARTAKOVSKY (VIRTUOSO PIANIST). 'MOZART ON THE MEADOW' INCLUDED PERFORMANCES OF MOZART'S PIANO, VIOLIN AND CLARINET CONCERTOS, WIND AND STRING SERENADE AND SYMPHONE NO 40 PERFORMED BY WORLD-CLASS MUSICIANS UNDER THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION OF MIN KWON (DIRECTOR OF THE CENTER FOR MUSICAL EXCELLENCE).THE SPRING OUTDOOR FESTIVAL FEATURED MANY BROADWAY MUSICIANS INCLUDING JONATHAN DINKLAGE (CONCERTMASTER VIOLINIST OF BROADWAY PRODUCTION HAMILTON) PERFORMING VARIOUS BROADWAY AND MOVIE PIECES.THE OUTDOOR EVENTS WERE WELL ATTENDED (250-400), WHILE THE VIRTUAL CONCERTS SAW 50 - 100 CLICKS.
DUE TO COVID THE MUSIC IN THE SOMERSET HILLS PROGRAM OF EDUCATION CLASSES AND SUMMER CAMPS WERE PLACED ON HOLD.
