HPC3 CONTINUATION OF A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER PUBLICATION MAILED TO ALL RESIDENTS OF HIGHLAND PARK WITH INFORMATION ABOUT THE COVID-19 CRISIS AND AVAILABLE RESOURCES OF FOOD AND PERSONAL SUPPLIES. THE GRANT ALSO FUNDED THE TRANSFER OF 350 RAISED BEDS FROM BUCKETS OF RAIN TO PARKER VILLAGE AND AVALON VILLAGE AND FUNDED FARM MANAGEMENT AT BOTH SITES. THE BEDS PROVIDED FRESH PRODUCE FOR HIGHLAND PARK RESIDENTS ALL SUMMER.
COVID RELIEF NEPAL EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, HANDWASHING STATIONS, MASKS AND HAND SANITIZER FOR 70 SCHOOLS, HEALTH CAMPS THAT SERVED 2,289 PEOPLE, TWO COVID ISOLATION UNITS, THOUSANDS OF COVID TESTING KIDS AND HUNDREDS OF HOME QUARANTINE KITS.
MAKPA HEALTH POST AND BIRTHING CENTER THE HEALTH POST AND BIRTHING CENTER - CONSISTING OF A BIRTHING ROOM, EXAM ROOMS, OFFICE, BATHROOM, DISPENSARY AND STORAGE ROOMS, PROVIDES PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE TO THE COMMUNITY, ANTENATAL CARE AND ATTENDED DELIVERIES, VACCINATIONS, FAMILY PLANNING AND MEDICINES.
