THE CLUBS PRIMARY GOAL IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON SUBJECTS USEFUL TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY AND TO INSTRUCT INDIVIDUALS FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING OR DEVELOPING THEIR CAPABILITIES THROUGH YOUTH ATHLETICS. THE CLUB WANTS TO HELP KIDS BUILD COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP SKILLS, SOCIAL SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN TEAM SPORTS. THE CLUB HAS APPROXIMATELY SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY ATHLETES ANNUALLY BETWEEN THE AGES OF FOUR AND SIXTEEN INVOLVED IN FOUR SPORTS. ALSO, THE CLUB HELPED FIFTEEN IMPOVERISHED KIDS/FAMILIES BY SPONSORING THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS TEAM SPORTS.
THE CLUB WORKS WITH OVER TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE COACHES, UMPIRES, REFEREES, AND COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS TO PROVIDE A FUN, SAFE, AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT FOR PLAYERS OF ALL AGES AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS. THE CLUB PROVIDES SPORTING EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, AND INCURS OTHER EXPENSES FROM TRYOUTS AND VARIOUS EVENTS.
THE CLUB HAS INSURANCE COVERAGE TO PROTECT PLAYERS, COACHES, UMPIRES, REFEREES, COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS, AND BOARD MEMBERS IN CASE OF INJURY TO THE PARTICIPANTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE CLUB PAYS IMPACT FEES TO THE CITY OF PEMBROKE PINES TO MAINTAIN A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.
