OUR MISSION IS TO REACH OUT INTO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS, COMMUNITY SERVICE, AND SPIRITUAL ENDEAVORS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR A BETTER COMMUNITY.THE BRANDON KIRK SIMS FOUNDATION, INC. HAS CONTINUED ITS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (MERIT), AND ITS FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (CHOW) THROUGHOUT THE TIME PERIOD SPECIFIED. THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CONSISTS OF PAYING FOR TUITION, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, AND UNIFORMS FOR ONE CHILD IN NICARAGUA PER YEAR. THE MERIT PROGRAM CONSISTS OF PROVIDING AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES, MENTORSHIP, CAMARADERIE, AND TUTORING OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED INDIVIDUALS AND OTHER INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. THE CHOW PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO COLLABORATE WITH THE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT TO IDENTIFY STUDENTS WHO MAY NEED FOOD ASSISTANCE THEN PROVIDE THOSE STUDENTS WITH A FOOD PACKAGE TO COMBAT THEIR HUNGER ON THE WEEKENDS (CHOW).
