EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF ADULTS IN CYCLING TO HELP THEM COMPETE IN NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE OLYMPICS, WHILE INSTRUCTING YOUTH IN AMATEUR CYCLING FUNDAMENTALS THROUGHOUT AFRICA.

TEAM AFRICA RISING (TAR) SUCCESSFULLY PROCURED AND DISTRIBUTED 70 TRAINERS INTO 7 COUNTRIES IN AFRICA. THESE TRAINERS HELPED LAUNCH PROFESSIONAL CAREERS FOR GRAVEL CYCLISTS IN KENYA, UGANDA AND RWANDA AND PLACED TWO RWANDANS WITH SEMI PROFESSIONAL TEAM IN FRANCE. DUE TO ONGOING FALLOUT OF COVID-19, TAR CONTINUED INVESTING IN VIRTUAL TRAINING AND RACING AND AS COUNTRIES OPEN UP, SENDING COACHES AND TRAINERS INTO THESE COUNTRIES TO ESTABLISH MORE CONTINENTAL WIDE VIRTUAL RACES AND A DATABASE OF PROMISING TALENT TO MOVE UP TO THE PROFESSIONAL LEVEL.THIS PLATFORM AND TALENT IDENTIFCATION SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE INTO 2022. AS OUR PARTNERS AND CYCLISTS BECOME VACCINATED AND COUNTIES BEGIN OPENING, WE WILL CONTINUE HOSTING IN PERSON COACHING AND MECHANIC TRAINING COURSES COUPLE WITH TRAINING ON THE VIRTUAL SYSTEM.
