UPC RECEIVED THE FAIRFAX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CONSOLIDATED COMMUNITY FUNDING POOL (CCFP) GRANT. THIS GRANT PROVIDES UPC THE FUNDING TO EDUCATE THE COMMUNITY ON SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION, RISK AND PROTECTIVE FACTORS, BUILDING RESILIENCY IN YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH ITS THREE SIGNATURE PROGRAMS, PROTECT AGAINST SUBSTANCE ABUSE, PERILS OF THE DRINKING CULTURE, AND SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE SUBURBS. THESE PROGRAMS WERE BROUGHT TO THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY WITH EXPANSION PLANNED TO REACH THE KOREAN COMMUNITY AS WELL, THUS STRENGTHENING UPC'S EFFORTS TO REACH ALL DEMOGRAPHICS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY
