NEW OAKS COMMUNITY, INC. (THE ORGANIZATION) SEEKS TO DEVELOP PROPERTIES WHERE FAMILIES CAN LIVE IN COMMUNITY AND UNITE IN HEART FOR THE COMMON PURPOSE OF LOVING CHILDREN THROUGH FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION. OUR DESIRE IS THAT ABANDONED OR NEGLECTED CHILDREN WILL FIND A HOME WHERE THEY CAN EXPERIENCE THE TRUE LOVE OF GOD, TO UNDERSTAND THEY WERE BORN WITH GREAT PURPOSE, AND TO BE SET FREE TO LIVE OUT THEIR DESTINY. BY PLANTING SEEDS OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE IN THEIR HEART, THE ORPHANS OF OUR TIMES CAN BECOME "NEW OAKS" - FIRMLY ROOTED IN FAMILY AND A CONTRIBUTING PART OF THE COMMUNITY.

PRIMARY ACCOMPLISHMENT OF NEW OAKS COMMUNITY IN 2019 IS THE PROGRESSIVE RESTORATION OF THE MAIN HOUSE AND SURROUNDING PROPERTY AS A PHASE 2 STEP IN BUILDING A FOSTER CARE FAMILY COMMUNITY. THIS WORK IS MADE POSSIBLE BY NUMEROUS INDIVIDUALS VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME, TALENT, AND RESOURCES TO ENABLE THE VISION/MISSION OF NEW OAKS COMMUNITY. ULTIMATELY OUR PROGRAM SERVICE WORK WILL FULLY BEGIN ONCE THE BUILDINGS AND PROPERTY PROJECTS ARE COMPLETE. EXPENDITURES OF 118,698 FOR THIS RESTORATION HAVE BEEN CAPITALIZED AND ADDED TO THE BASIS OF BUILDINGS AND LAND ON THE BALANCE SHEET.
