SANTA CRUZ BREAKERS ACADEMY (BREAKERS FC) PARTICIPATED IN THE US SOCCERDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND NORCAL PREMIER LEAGUE. THE DEVELOPMENT ACADEMYTRANSITIONED INTO MLS NEXT DURING THE PANDEMIC WHEN THE DEVELOPMENTACADEMY CLOSED, PROVIDING THE SAME HIGH LEVEL OF SOCCER FOR U13-U19BOYS. NEARLY 200 PLAYERS PLAYING U8-U19 PARTICIPATED IN THIS YEAR'SPROGRAMS AS WE EXPANDED TO INCLUDE YOUNGER PLAYERS. WE HAVE QUALIFIEDPROFESSIONAL COACHES ON OUR COACHING STAFF AS WELL AS ADMINISTRATORSAND VOLUNTEERS TO HELP THE ORGANIZATION. THE ACADEMY TEAMS TRAVELED INNORTHERN CALIFORNIA DURING 2020, SINCE NO TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE STATE WAS ALLOWED. OUR PLAYERS ARE SCOUTED BY USSF SCOUTS AND COLLEGE COACHES WHORECRUIT THEM TO PLAY AT THE NEXT LEVEL. THE MAJORITY OF OUR PLAYERSMOVE ON TO PLAY IN COLLEGE, MANY WITH SOCCER SCHOLARSHIPS. COLLEGE COUNSELING IS PROVIDED TO OUR PLAYERS DURING THEIR EXPERIENCE WITH THEBREAKERS ACADEMY.CONSIDERING THE REQUIREMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN SET AND THAT FOLLOW THE SUCCESS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN FROM 9 TO 19 AND THE NEW COACHES THAT WE HAVE ESTABLISHED THAT WE EDUCATE ACCORDING TO FIFA AND USS STANDARDS, OUR CONNECTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BRIDGE BETWEEN OUR ACADEMY AND EUROPE IS GETTING STRONGER AND STRONGER, ESPECIALLY WITH THE FRENCH FEDERATION, WHERE OUR COACHES, THE DIRECTOR AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE BOARD SHOULD BE ENGAGED SO THAT OUR ACADEMY GAINS AS MUCH CREDIBILITY AS POSSIBLE IN THE EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT DEVELOPMENT OF PLAYERS AND COACHES OF THE ENTIRE CENTRAL COAST REGION.
