THE MISSION OF BOLT FOR THE HEART IS TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY PARTICULARLY THOSE AFFECTED BY HEART DISEASE THROUGH EDUCATION FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND DIRECT ASSISTANCE. THROUGH SPONSORED EVENTS SUCH AS FAMILY RUNS FUNDING IS OBTAINED WHICH ALLOWS US TO PURCHASE AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS AND DONATE THESE AEDS TO FIRST RESPONDERS AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. HAVING AN AED HAS BEEN PROVEN TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DEATH FROM SUDDEN CARDIAC ARREST.
