IN JULY 2014, THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVED A PLAN TO WIND-DOWN THE OPERATIONS, WHICH OCCURRED BY THE END OF 2014. THE ORGANIZATION'S ASSETS WERE USED TO FUND CONTRACT OBLIGATIONS TO THE ORGANIZATION'S SPONSORS AND THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE AND FOR GRANTMAKING. THE ORGANIZATION HAS CONTINUED THEREAFTER AS A NON-OPERATING ENTITY.THE ORGANIZATION MAY PERFORM SIMILAR FUNCTIONS FOR FUTURE SUPER BOWL FOOTBALL GAMES IN THE NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY METROPOLITAN AREA.
